Our Venue

Gaithers at Myrtle Creek Farm is a farm-style wedding venue located in Covington, Georgia. Situated amongst the rolling hills of southern Newton County, this historic property provides couples with a scenic backdrop for their wedding event. There are a total of 256 acres at Gaither's. It is one of the last remaining mid-19th-century farms in Northeast Georgia and boasts plenty of heritage aspects throughout the grounds.
This venue is home to the Gaither Plantation House, a log smokehouse, a pole hay barn, and agricultural fields. There are several historic buildings that have been relocated to Gaither including an old country store, two cabins, and Harris Springs Primitive Baptist Church. There are also four two cemeteries on the premises that host a myriad of historic gravesites. As couples and their guests stroll through the green pasture lands they will be able to enjoy views of healthy trees that occupy the forest that surrounds the main homestead.
